The
Mission of Child Development Services Cumberland County:
To provide an Early Intervention Team approach, within the community and to develop educational tools that promote learning, self esteem and growth for children and families. Child Development Services Cumberland County is one of sixteen statewide satellite agencies providing special education services to children ages birth through five, who have been diagnosed as having a disability or developmental delay. CDS-Cumberland is funded through a grant from the State of Maine and the Federal government. Examples of such
services are speech & language
therapy, occupational therapy, developmental therapy and physical
therapy.
We welcome referrals
from parents, physicians, therapists, preschools or nursery schools. If
